Falls Prevention Programme

One in three people over 65 years old will have a fall this year. However our risk of falling increase as we age as half of all people over 80 will fall. Here at the Physiotherapy Unit we believe a vast majority of falls could be prevented with changes in lifestyle.

Evidence has shown that attending this type of program to improve your strength and balance can reduce your risk of falls and falls related injuries.
