We recognise that visiting a hospital can be a stressful and unnerving experience for anyone. At the Hospital of St John & St Elizabeth we are committed to the welfare of all our patients and you will find that all of our staff work hard to ensure your stay with us is a positive experience.

Patients can be reassured that The Physiotherapy Unit is part of the Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth, one of the UK’s leading private hospitals with an international reputation stretching back nearly 160 years.

Coming In For Treatment

The Physiotherapy Unit at the Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth offers excellent care and state-of-the-art facilities.

Your first appointment will last up to one hour. In this session we will take the history of your condition as well as undertake a thorough physical examination of the problem. When you visit the hospital for treatment, make your way to the Physiotherapy reception on the 1st floor. The full appointment charge will be levied if you do not attend your appointment or less than 24 hours notice is given to cancel your appointment. If you arrive over 15 minutes late for your appointment you may not be seen, but may be charged for your appointment. What to wear to your appointment depends on the nature of the injury/condition. For example, if we are treating your ankle, it would be best to arrive in shorts. However, if you are unsure, please feel free contact us and we can advise you on the best solution.

We welcome any questions you may have and provide a constant level of support to guide you through any concerns you may have. If you have any questions, however small you may think, please contact us on 0207 806 4010 and we will be happy to assist you with our dedicated, caring approach. You can also view our FAQs here.
