Role: Hand Therapy Specialist
Qualification: BSc Occupational Therapy
After completing her physiotherapy degree in 2012, Esther started her career working in sport before working in the NHS. Having completed a range of rotations, Esther specialised in hand therapy in 2016.
In this time she has worked closely with hand and wrist orthopaedic and plastic surgeons, treating a range of trauma and elective patients, using a variety of splinting techniques.
She has experience in the management of sports injuries, fractures, tendinopathies and nerve injuries. She has a special interest in strength and conditioning and return to sport rehabilitation.
Esther is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP), the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Association of Hand Therapy (BAHT) where she also serves as the organisation’s Director of Finance.
