The Physiotherapy Unit at the Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth is one of the UK's leading physio centres, offering a comprehensive range of services at your convenience.

Our department is staffed by experienced chartered physiotherapists whose variety of specialist skills and interests cover every area.  They work closely with some of country's finest consultants and nurses, offering the highest standard of specialist care and attention.

We regularly treat elite sportsmen and athletes in our unit both following surgery and as outpatients.  This includes premiership footballers and rugby players, cricketers, dancers, badminton and basketball players. The same high level of care available to these athletes is extended to everyone who comes through our dedicated specialist unit.

Coordinated care
Working as a team, we use a range of skills to ensure optimum management and to help patients get better and stay better.  We ensure excellent communication between all our staff members as well as GP's and other healthcare providers.  With professional sportsmen we work with and advise club doctors and coaches on optimum rehabilitation, to enable players and athletes to return to training as quickly as possible without causing further injury.

The physiotherapy services at the Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth are provided by Central Health

We have links to a further rehabilitation facility at the Springdene Clinic in Whetstone and satellite clinics in Chancery Lane and the Portobello Private Medical Centre.

All profits from the Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth go towards funding St John's Hospice, the Hospice in the Heart of London.
